Warwickshire Rural Housing Association is celebrating National Housing Day and the positive impact social housing has on millions of residents nationally.

Now in its eighth year, #HousingDay has played an important role in raising the profile of the social housing sector and ensuring the voices of our residents are heard.

The theme for 2020 is 'The importance of home' in support of the national ‘Homes at the Heart’ campaign, calling for a once-in-a-generation investment in social housing.

WRHA build and manage affordable homes in rural communities across Warwickshire, helping to transform the lives of hundreds of people. All the properties are specifically for people with a local connection to the village, offering a lifeline to many.

Company Secretary, Richard Mugglestone, says: “The importance of home is at the heart of WRHA. We understand that now more than ever, our residents need to feel safe and secure in their homes. WRHA is about more than bricks and mortar. We do everything we can to support our residents to make their house a home and a place where they can confidently build their future.”
