Direct debits - we're going paperless

We’re introducing email notifications for your direct debit updates.

So, if something changes regarding your direct debit, allpay (our payment provider) can let you know by email rather than letter.

Why…? It’s more efficient, convenient, and better for the environment.


How can you access the service?

  • If we have your email address:
    • You should soon receive an email from allpay asking you to verify your email address
    • The email will come from: noreply@allpay.net
    • Please click the verify link in the email to enable future direct debit information to be sent by email. The email will look something like this:

    • Once you have successfully verified your email address, you won't be asked to do this again and you will receive direct debit updates by email from then.

    • If you don’t receive a verification email from allpay by the end of October, please contact us on 0300 1234 009 or at enquiries@midlandsrural.org.uk

    • If you verify your email address to opt-in to the email updates and then change your mind, please contact us so that we can update your preferences.
  • If we don’t have your email address:
    • If you’d like to have your updates by email and we don’t have your email address, please contact us on 0300 1234 009 to update your information.
  • If you don’t want to receive direct debit updates by email:
    • If you’d prefer to continue to receive your direct debit updates by letter, you don’t need to do anything further.
    • If you receive an email asking you to verify your email address, please simply ignore it. You may get a reminder email, but again just ignore this.
