Vice-chair steps down after five years of valued service

warwickshire rural housing assocation, long compton

Peter Martin, the vice-chair of Warwickshire Rural Housing Association, has stepped down from the Board after five years of valued service.  During his time on the Board Peter played a key role in influencing strategy development, work on organisational values and plans for sustainable and environmentally conscious development and maintenance methods.

Peter’s professional experience in business development for rural and land-based industries, including national policy development on the rural economy, allowed him to bring expertise to the strategic planning work of the Association.  Time spent on Neighbourhood Planning and Parish Council work in rural Warwickshire also enabled Peter to have a key understanding and close alignment with the Association’s work with local communities.

Company Secretary, Richard Mugglestone said:

“I would like to thank Peter for his advice, support and expertise throughout his five years on the Board.

"He has always been a conscientious and committed Board member who showed a genuine interest in the work and wellbeing of officers, whilst keeping a keen eye on the direction of the Association and our service to residents and communities.

"In particular, his guidance on the formulation of the WRHA Strategic Plan has helped to shape the work of the Association for years to come”.
