New homes in Broom - public consultation

broom image

We'll be holding a public consultation on the development of nine affordable and nine local market homes in Broom on Thursday 31 March.

Residents are invited to attend the drop-in event in Broom Village Hall, between 3.15pm and 7pm to:

  • see outline plans for the new homes
  • ask questions
  • comment on any aspect of the proposal.

The event is organised in partnership by Warwickshire Rural Housing Association, Bidford-on-Avon Parish Council, Warwickshire Rural Community Council and Linfoot Country Homes.

The new homes, identified through a recent housing needs survey, would be an extension of the existing housing scheme on Aspley Close.

The outlines plans for the proposed 18 local connection homes would be a mix of maisonettes, bungalows and houses.

As part of the planning agreement, the homes would be prioritised for people with a local connection to the parish.
