Move brings sisters together in Harbury

Rosemarie Smith, known as Bunty, is looking forward to getting even more involved in her local community, having moved nearer to her sister, Sue.

Bunty says that her and Sue have always been very close sisters, enjoying caravan holidays together with their husbands in the past, and always living in close proximity.  Now they’re both thrilled to be living in Harbury, just around the corner from each other!

Sue says: “I have COPD and I sometimes get quite short of breath.  I wanted to be nearer my sister so it makes it easier to help each other out.  Sue’s house is just through the park at the back and only a couple of minutes’ drive away so it’s perfect.

“My bungalow is ideal.  I was living in Nuneaton previously but had been going to Harbury to see Sue a lot so I know a lot of people in the village already.  I go to the Pleasant Pastimes group where we play games, do sewing or just meet for a natter. Once a month there’s the Holiday at Home club with crafts, entertainment and bingo.

“I was already involved in quite a lot before I moved to the village but now I’m living in Harbury I’ll be able to play a more active part in the community, which will be lovely.”
