Before you submit your claim, please check if you could be covered elsewhere.

  • If a problem occurs within one year of you signing your lease, you can report repairs to us as a defect
  • If the repair is structural, it might be covered by your NHBC Guarantee – this was given to you when you purchased your home. Their cover is provided for ten years. 
  • Repairs could also be covered by buildings insurance
  • Or it may be covered by a component warranty/guarantee. These were given to you when you purchased your home.

Please confirm that the works will be carried out by a qualified tradesperson who is Trustmark approved: If this is not evidenced when you submit your invoice, we won’t be able to reimburse you.
What happens next?

Once you've submitted your claim, we'll let you know if we've approved or rejected it within seven days.

Please don't instruct the tradesperson to start work until you have received approval.
