Introduction

We offer affordable rented and shared ownership homes so that people who cannot afford to buy a property on the open market can stay close to their rural roots.

We offer tenancies and leases to rural people in housing need, and many of our properties are subject to a Section 106 agreement. This is a planning agreement entered into with local authorities so they can ensure that we provide affordable housing for local people.

The Section 106 agreement will insist that an applicant has a local connection to the area if they wish to apply for accommodation. This will normally be where an applicant lives or has previously lived or worked or if they have relatives there.
