Our management team
Craig Felts, Company Secretary
Craig’s role as Company Secretary includes ensuring compliance and managing budgets. He also leads the management team in their delivery of developing homes to meet local housing needs and providing a resident and community focused housing management service. Craig works tirelessly to raise the profile of rural housing locally and nationally with the aim of building homes to help maintain balanced and sustainable rural communities. He chairs the Rural Network East Midlands' housing sub group and is member of the National Housing Federation Rural Alliance. He was appointed Managing Director of Midlands Rural Housing (MRH), which provides our management services, in January 2005, having been the Deputy Director since its formation in 1997. Craig is a keen angler, and enjoys walking and cycling.
Richard Mugglestone, Project Delivery Manager
A business graduate, Richard has more than ten years of management and business development experience. He joined the association in 2005 and is in charge developing new business. Richard enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons as well as football, cricket and golf.
Ed Massey, Housing Services Manager
Ed heads the housing services team. He has an MSc/Diploma in housing from the London School of Economics and has sixteen years’ experience in the housing sector. Ed has worked in housing advice and homelessness as well as housing management for both local authority and registered providers in London and the Midlands. He joined the association in 2005 following a spell in leasehold management and a career break travelling abroad.
David Krause, Development and Maintenance Manager
David’s responsibilities include managing stock investment and decent homes programmes, construction partnering, maintenance services, contract tendering, development funding and overseeing the development programme. He joined the association in September 2005.
Sue Haywood, Office Manager
Sue manages the Customer Care Team, ensuring communication and quality control is of the highest standard and looking at ways to improve the business operations for the benefit of the customer. Sue has worked for the association since January 1990 and has 20 years’ experience in customer services within the housing sector. She enjoys spending time with her family and going to the gym.
